The Funding
The TMP After-School program costs approximately $3,500 per student and the Summer Program costs $1,000 per student for a total of $4,500 per student for the whole year. Teach My People programs are at no cost to the families they serve.
About Teach My People
Teach My People is a Christ-centered, academically focused afterschool and summer program for students from disadvantaged communities. What makes Teach My People unique is that we welcome a new student when they enter first grade and follow that same student until they graduate high school. This gives Teach My People the opportunity to partner with the child, their family and their school for 12 years, providing the tools for academic, emotional and social health for every child we serve at Teach My People. To date, Teach My People has supported 51 students through 12 years of education to successfully graduate high school. To date, 17 of 51 are enrolled and flourishing in college. One of our Alumni is pursuing their Master’s Degree, one has completed their Masters, and one is pursuing a Doctorate Degree, and three graduates are serving in the Military.
