TMP's Need in the Community
Teach My People has a significant role and responsibility in the development of our community. The majority of the youth we serve bring unique challenges upon their enrollment in our program. Many of them have poor levels of academic preparedness, self-esteem and life aspirations. They also may lack positive peer support and effective study habits. These students are typically at a higher risk of dropping out of school and never returning.
